RECIPE SCORECARD

The Recipe Scorecard focuses on key ingredients of your golf game to lower scores. Instead of just swing mechanics, it encourages strategic thinking about scoring. It highlights areas for improvement and serves as a foundation for creating an effective Practice Recipe.

Sample Scorecard. Mark your course’s scorecard to record your score, strokes to within 100 yards, strokes from 100 yards, putts, penalties, chips within 30 yards, and greenside bunker shots.

LEGENDS

  • Score: Number of strokes to hole out

  • To ≤ 100 yds: Number of strokes to get within 100 yards to the middle of the green

  • From ≤ 100 yds: Number of strokes to hole out from within 100 yards to the middle of the hole

  • Putts: Number of putts to hole out

  • Penalty: ✘ if penalty stroke incurred

  • Chip ≤ 30 yds: ✔ if successful in chipping once to the green from ≤ 30 yards, ✘ if unsuccessful

  • GSB: ✔ if successful in getting out of greenside bunker in one stroke, ✘ if unsuccessful

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Use the sample scorecard as a model to modify your course's scorecard.

  2. Play a round while marking your modified scorecard.
